Make sure the verses are interpreted correctly.
Several years ago, I posted messages to challenge the readers; this series is similar. It is to provoke the readers to check out what is written themselves.
These were more fair-minded than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness, and searched the Scriptures daily to find out whether these things were so (Acts 17:11).
Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth (2 Timothy 2:15).
This is a great challenge that will help to increase your Biblical knowledge and understanding.
Note-
Always remember to connect other scriptures that relate and support that particular verse. Never isolate a scripture and think that you have the meaning. Read verses before and after in order to have the proper context.
Below is a quote that is misunderstood. I will do my best as the Holy Spirit leads me to explain what they mean. A specific topic will be posted on different days.
“We’re living in the book of Revelation” The first three chapters of Revelation are for the church, as a commendation from Jesus and also a few of them were warned to return to their first love whom they had left. After that, the church is no longer on the earth. Nothing will be said about the church again until the nineteenth chapter.
The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave Him to show His servants—things which must shortly take place. And He sent and signified it by His angel to His servant John, who bore witness to the word of God, and to the testimony of Jesus Christ, to all things that he saw (Revelation 1:1). John wrote what Jesus revealed to him.
After these things I looked, and behold, a door standing open in heaven. And the first voice which I heard was like a trumpet speaking with me, saying,
“Come up here, and I will show you things which must take place after this.”
Immediately I was in the Spirit; and behold, a throne set in heaven, and One sat on the throne (Revelation 4:1-2). The rest of the book is prophetically written for the future.
