The blessings of being in God’s will

After reading my spiritual journey from 1982 up until this present time, I pray that you will use what I have experienced as a model (guide), because I modeled Jesus Christ and still do. We are called to imitate Christ (Ephesians 5:1). And as Paul the apostle wrote, I feel the same way: Imitate me, just as I also imitate Christ (1 Corinthians 11:1).

Although I am not perfect because the flesh is affected by this sinful environment, I have no hidden agenda.   

This is what I want to leave you with after posting this week's series:

Listen to counsel and receive instructions, that you may be wise in your latter days (Proverbs 19:20).

From whom do we get instructions? Other than the Word and the Holy Spirit,  God has given godly counselors to minister to His people.

Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore, get wisdom. And in all your getting, get understanding (Proverbs 4:7). Why do we need wisdom? To help us make wise choices; this helps us to mature in our spiritual walk. Example: It is wise to study the Bible; the wisest choices are in the Word of God.  

Encouragement- Don’t compromise your spiritual values- my big mistake; that’s why I can encourage, advise, and warn because of my experience, yet the times that I didn’t compromise I became an enemy. Obey God rather than a person (Acts 5:29).

My experience: when I did not obey what was told or asked of me, evil things were said against to many in the church and even some ministers refused to speak to me but look at me now! Those weapons were formed but they did not prosper (Isaiah 54:17).

Listen to the Holy Spirit; let Him be your guide when someone comes to you with a Word or tell you what your call is unless what they say is confirmed. This could be that the Lord is already dealing with you, and He uses someone or something to confirm- it is better to make sure rather than doing something God hasn’t called you to do (1 Corinthians 3:11-15).

Warning! For your sake please do not let anyone tell you what your call is unless- you have sat under or been mentored to by someone in the  five fold ministry office, or the Lord may send a prophetic word which will confirm what your gift is.

The Lord sent a prophetess to me. The office of evangelist was very prominent; the training came through being taught by a teacher for thirty-three years. I was ever yearning to learn and come into the knowledge of the truth.
