Our God is Faithful!

God’s Goodness, His Promises, and His Faithfulness 5-14-24

The Evidence and Results of our Great God!

After the trip to New York yesterday and a conversation that I had with a friend, I felt this would be the perfect time to reflect on all the years of God’s faithfulness. Even  when I was unfaithful, He remained faithful. Faithful is He that calleth you; He also will do it (1 Thessalonians 5:24).

Also, after posting messages  about stewardship (the gifts- all that He has placed in our hands to manage), I could not think of a better time to post some testimonies of His goodness to me. This is to encourage the readers and to motivate them to pursue what God’s purpose is for your lives.

I will share certain aspects of my life that are very pivotal to me, that will also benefit others.

From the time shortly after my walk with the Lord, I had a hunger and thirst for His Word Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled (Matthew 5:6). I wanted Him to be first in my life despite the consequences. And everyone who has left houses, brothers, sisters, father, mother, wife, children, or lands, for My name’s sake, shall receive a hundredfold, and inherit eternal life (Matthew 19:29).

I have had friends to come and some went; some have even said “I want to be like you when I grow up!” They left me, but God added many others who have been a blessing to me in various ways; they obeyed the Spirit’s prompting, while others purposely held back, but it did not stop my blessings; actually, some of their blessings were stopped one way or the other.

For those of you who do not want certain people in your lives, listen up! God has a reason for every person He puts in our lives. There was a time when I didn’t want some others in my life, but I learned through my maturing process, that iron sharpens iron. As iron sharpens iron, so a man sharpens the countenance of his friend (Proverbs 27:17).

I have been tremendously blessed by others God has used as resources; very little income, and there was a time when there was no income yet God provided just as He would And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us (2 Corinthians 1:20). My cup is overflowing (Psalm 23).

Will a man rob God? Yet you have robbed Me! But you say, in what way have we robbed You? In tithes and offerings. You are cursed with a curse, for you have robbed Me, even this whole nation. Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be food in My house, and try Me now in this, says the Lord of hosts, if I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you such blessing that there will not be room enough to receive it Malachi 3:8-10). I am a living witness that it works!

I understand the principles of God; I don’t tithe to get back, it’s because I love the Lord. Yet, He tells us it will come back. All we need to do is to trust and obey!

Lord willing, I will continue on tomorrow abbot God’s goodness and His faithfulness!
