This is a pause from the regular especially during the weekdays unless something special comes up like a holiday or what is being posted today. This message is to encourage all of you who have lost someone dear to your heart.
My greatest time of sadness goes back to the sixties when my dearly beloved grandmother passed on; she was most illuminating light of my life; then it was my first stepfather, my uncles and aunts, several loving friends, cousins, my daddy, my beloved mother, my sister, niece, another stepfather, spiritual mentors, my nephew, and one of my best friends (a year ago). All of my loved ones and those who were dear to my heart are not listed.

Today, I want to share how painful it is to lose someone who has been remarkably close to you. The reason it hurts so bad to lose those loved ones is because it was never meant to be, therefore we cannot become desensitized to it, regardless of how often, or how many loved ones pass on.
Weeping endures for a night, but joy comes in the morning is used many times when someone passes on (Psalm 30:5).
For me, that is hopeful because regardless of how long the weeping nights may be, joy does come in the morning. Night can be figuratively of sadness, but morning can be figuratively of joy.
Back to why we grieve and mourn over the loss of our loved ones. God never intended for people to die, but when Adam sinned it caused death to come on everybody, because we inherited Adam’s sin (Romans 5:12).

But the joyful part is, God made a way for us to have joy through Jesus Christ. We don’t continue to sorrow as those who have no hope. But I do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who have fallen asleep, lest you sorrow as others who have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus.
For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep. For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first.

Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus, we shall always be with the Lord. Therefore comfort one another with these words (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18). Family and friends, take comfort in the Word of God!
Lastly, we should have peace with everyone we can while we can because no one knows when their life will end.
