Saturday Fellowship – God Certainly Answers Prayers 8-2-25

We have been praying for a niece to be more mobile and be able to enjoy family and friends, especially at various functions.  After quite a long time, things changed. We strongly believe strongly that the Lord hears and answer prayer. It started with the granddaughter’s prom night, then two other granddaughters’ promotion to High school, and it continued on to another event with family and friends. In the midst of her being fully mobile, my niece pressed forward despite the pain.

Last Saturday, July 26^th one of my nieces and I went to fellowship with another (bonus) niece of mine. This niece loves to entertain; she is not only a great hostess, but she is a superb cook. And she cooks some southern dishes that satisfy my taste. It was a time of reminiscing as we partook of the food, and from the dining room table to the patio, where we continued chatting and just having fun being together in her lovely home.

I want to acknowledge and give thanks to my prayer partners and the Bible study class for praying for my niece; your prayers are definitely making a difference. Please don’t stop; this is just the beginning of a new thing for Joannie. Glory to the Lord God Almighty!

Ps. You may be saying “Wow” Betty has a lot of nieces! I am known by many, many people from the south to the north as “Aunt Betty”
