Earlier this week the Senior Center had someone to come and help us with some business matters that will relieve anyone stressful if we didn’t have our affairs in order. There are so many other ways we have been blessed at the apartment complex where I reside, as well as the Senior Center where I attend, during this season of my life.

We are also recipients of many other blessings, which enhances the lives of those who choose to be involved. Some of us don’t consider ourselves old, especially me, we are “Seasoned” I also considered myself as a “Rising Senior”

Back in the day they used salt to preserve. Thank the Lord that we are well preserved, and because the Lord had kept us we are able to move forward by His grace. My quality of life continues to get better and better as I age. As a matter of fact, these are some of the best days of my life.

Wisdom is with aged men [and women too!], and with length of days, understanding (Job 12:12). This is true for those who are obedient to God because Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path (Psalm 119:105). He who walks with wise men will be wise, but the companion of fools will be destroyed (Proverbs 13:20).

Words of Wisdom for younger generations.  If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him (James 1:5). Look at it like this “Lift up your eyes to the hills where all your help comes from, all of our help comes from the Lord”

My testimony, advice, and encouragement – I am living the best days of my life, enjoying being a seasoned senior. I pray that you will be motivated by this message.
