BIBLICAL Facts -

My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge, because you have rejected knowledge (Hosea 4:6)

After carefully seeking the Holy Spirit’s guidance about what messages to post next, certain scriptures came to mind. I don’t search for these erroneous quotes and teaching, they pop up on social media.

People are so emotional because of some sermons, they miss the whole point. They don’t check behind what is being preached, they just want to feel good. It’s similar to going on a cocaine high that takes you up and a few minutes later you’re back in the same condition; feeling empty.

In the past it has been known that some preachers get people roused up on their emotions with empty/vain words and when they leave church they were not able to tell you what the preacher said. Someone may ask: “What did he preach about?” The person answered: “Chile, I don’t know but it was good!”

Then there are some that are saying so many “AMENS” that I don’t understand how they know what the preacher is saying. I say this often and will continue to reiterate it: We are to be imitators of Christ: And so, it was, when Jesus had ended these sayings, that the people were astonished at His teaching,  for He taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes (Matthew 7:28-29). That’s exactly what we are called to do. People should be astonished how the Holy Spirit is working in and through us.

And seeing the multitudes, He went up on a mountain, and when He was seated His disciples came to Him. Then He opened His mouth and taught them, saying:…… (Matthew 5:1).  Jesus taught on a level that could be understood. He taught them from the natural, to convey a spiritual principle. He did not scream, yell, build up peoples’ emotions.

In this day and time preachers should not be screaming, sweating so bad that you think they’re going to have a heart attack. That’s not from God; that is the person operating in the flesh.

If Scriptures are misquoted, it is because they are not understood; and that means that somebody is not studying. God should have first priority in His peoples’ lives. It is evident that many are not putting God first (studying/digging into His Word) because of their preaching, teaching?, and these erroneous comments are being viewed through internet, social media, TV, and even the air waves.

Misleading people is dangerous! And I am going to write the truth regardless of who doesn’t receive it, because I must give account to God for myself.  So, then each of us shall give account of himself to God (Romans 14:12). For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad (2 Corinthians 5:10). To be continued.

Faithfully serving to receive a “Well Done” from Jesus Christ!
