“Have a blessed Thanksgiving”
· Giving thanks to the Lord God Almighty for another year to celebrate another “Thanksgiving”. Although every day is a day of Thanksgiving; we should thank our God every day for everything, and especially for salvation.
These are some scriptures about giving thanks to God
· We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is fitting, because your faith grows exceedingly, and the love of every one of you all abounds toward each other (2 Thessalonians 1:3).
· Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever (1 Chronicles 16:34).
· And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him (Colossians 3:17).
· And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful (Colossians 3:15).
· Continue earnestly in prayer, being vigilant in it with thanksgiving (Colossians 4:2).
· While you are enriched in everything for all liberality, which causes thanksgiving through us to God (2 Corinthians 9:11).
· I want to thank the Lord for what He did for me all my life, but today is an exceptional day. Although I have been healed of several physical ailments, I have never been diagnosed with cancer. Just a couple of weeks ago, that deadly cancer was removed from my body through surgical means, and I am so grateful to God for using the surgeon to perform the procedure with precision; thank you Jesus.
· As we eat those scrumptious meals today, let’s give thanks. Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from foods which God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and know the truth. For every creature of God is good, and nothing is to be refused if it is received with thanksgiving; for it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer (1 Timothy 4:3-5).
· Let’s always remember to give thanks to our God, the Lord God Almighty for all things, even when they don’t seem good; they always work out for our good, because we are the called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28).
