Adding to and Taking Away From the Bible – A Warning to God’s People. Tampering with the Word of God is dangerous!
For years, when my teacher and I heard things said that were supposed to be Biblical, it grieved our spirit. He encouraged me to write and post it correctly through social media; the Lord had told me to post messages since 2011. I started posting a “Mid Week Challenge” for the readers to search out truths for themselves.
In all those years I learned that some people are not willing to change their errors because of pride, or what they learned came from a leader. That baffled me! Is a leader God? What about those who were called noble (excellent) in the book of Acts? They were supposed to be taught by the best scholars, yet they searched the scriptures to see if it was true (Acts 17:11). God was pleased with them, that’s why they were called noble (excellent) men.
I have been commissioned by the Lord to warn, correct and evil protect you from falling into false beliefs, or even still, to change your minds and learn to rightly divide the Word of God (Truth) for yourselves (2 Timothy 2:15). If the Word can be rightly divided (God’s perspective), it can be wrongly divided (our perspective). If you take heed to what is written, God will reward you.
This is not targeting anyone, so please don’t take it personally. If it is you, you are not the only one. I don’t agree with everything someone else says and neither do they agree with me; even some in the church I attend. Nobody is one hundred percent right all the time. The point is if any of us are altering the Word of God. We have put ourselves in a dangerous position and there are severe consequences. I don’t want to see anyone suffer unnecessarily consequences, and our Father certainly doesn’t, that’s the reason I am posting these messages.
Please be careful of some translations of the Bible; scriptures have been omitted or the meaning has been changed, whereas some extra words are included which also changes the meaning. Although we use modern language, the words should have the same meaning as the original language.
It is dangerous to alter the Word of God. For I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds to these things, God will add to him the plagues that are written in this book; and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part from the Book of Life, from the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book. (Revelation 22:18-19).
There are severe consequences to altering the precious Word of God! Please study the scriptures carefully before posting erroneously on social media or anywhere else.
These are more scriptures to let all who read these messages know how serious it is to alter the Word of God.
You shall not add to the word which I command you, nor take from it, that you may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you. Whatever I command you, be careful to observe it; you shall not add to it nor take away from it (Deuteronomy 4:2; 12:32).
Do not add to His words, lest He rebuke you, and you be found a liar. (Proverbs 30:6). Certainly not! Indeed, let God be true but every man a liar (Romans 3:4a).
Thus says the Lord: Stand in the court of the Lord’s house, and speak to all the cities of Judah, which come to worship in the Lord’s house, all the words that I command you to speak to them. Do not diminish a word. Perhaps everyone will listen and turn from his evil way, Stand before the people in the temple (Jeremiah 26:2-3). Social media is the platform the Lord has given me.
I truly hope and pray that the readers are open to the truth, repent and stop making God’s Word of no effect by altering what He has established. If anyone can prove me to be wrong according to the scriptures, I will gladly accept and share it openly. Remember this, all of us make mistakes.
I am not trying to nit pick, however I take the Word of God seriously, as should all of His children.
