The Dangers of Wearing Improperly Fitting Clothes and How to Avoid Them 7-7-26

What in the world would you look like wearing clothes that are too big for you?

While concentrating on a previous message, this also came to me. Since the most recent messages were pertaining “Transferring the Anointing” and “Receiving Someone Else’s Mantle”, I feel the Spirit would have me to include wearing improper clothes that don’t fit. Since this is in conjunction with the two previous messages, this can bring further clarity and confirmation.

This is ministry (spiritual); therefore, these people should stand on the Word of God for divine protection (Psalm 90) and stop acting like the world. The president have Secret service for protection; he is the chief of staff. What is anyone in ministry chief of? The apostles and prophets were the one the church was built on with Jesus Christ being the Chief Cornerstone (Ephesians 2:20).

It gives the appearance that these ministers are superior to others. The Word says: For there is no respect of persons with God (Romans 2:11). This is a shame before God. These leaders need to humble themselves and repent.

Example of wearing improper clothes that don’t fit- Saul and David - So Saul clothed David with his armor, and he put a bronze helmet on his head; he also clothed him with a coat of mail.  David fastened his sword to his armor and tried to walk, for he had not tested them. And David said to Saul, “I cannot walk with these, for I have not tested them. So, David took them off.

Then he took his staff in his hand; and he chose for himself five smooth stones from the brook, and put them in a shepherd’s bag, in a pouch which he had, and his sling was in his hand. And he drew near to the Philistine (1 Samuel 17:38-40). I am amazed to read about David and how he chose to use his own weapon (armor)- one stone!

Now it happened one day that Jonathan the son of Saul said to the young man who bore his armor [weapon], “Come, let us go over to the Philistines’ garrison that is on the other side.” But he did not tell his father (1 Samuel 14:1).

In the Old Testament, this was a physical weapon; in the New Testament, each person has been given his or her own weapon (Bible) which is our spiritual weapon. It looks so silly for a minister to have a person to carry his Bible and so on; they don’t understand and their perspective is clouded. Not only that, but God also provides the weapons for us to use –“The Whole Armor” (Ephesians 6:10-18).

Warning to the ministers and their so called armor bearers- Carry your own weapon (the Bible). Why would anyone choose or desire to be like someone else when God made each of us unique (Psalm 139:14).

Please know that you are special to God and that regardless of the gift He chose/ordained for you to have, that you are as important as the anyone else.
