These are the last motivational gifts. He who exhorts, in exhortation; he who gives, with liberality; he who administration (leads),
with diligence; he who shows mercy, with cheerfulness (Romans 12:6-8).
The gift of Exhortation- As with several gifts, all of us are to encourage, edify and build each other up. However there special graces; the God given ability to accomplish His purpose in our lives. This gift can be seen if a person is a greeter, usher, or a choir member. It is always prevalent that it is easily recognized. The person with this gift is always encouraging others.
Example: I knew a pianist/choir director who would have a word of encouragement before the choir would perform.
The gift of Giving – This person gives freely and they don’t tell others what they did. The recipient can share how God blessed them through certain people who truly had the heart to give.
The giver is passionate and with the other gifts it goes beyond: Give and it shall be given to you…. (Luke 6:38), and it’s more blessed to give than to receive (Acts 20:35). We give in obedience because God tells to give. However, the person with the gift of giving is passionate when it comes to giving; God has graced them to do so. The recipient can share how God blessed them through certain people who truly had the heart to give

Gift of Administration – I don’t believe these leaders are the five ministry gifts (offices) is the same as this leader. I believe it was written previously that some gifts are quite similar, yet they are different. The church administrators manage and organize the business aspect of the church, yet the people who are in these positions are still spiritual. Diligence – putting forth your best effort
Example of Administration - Joseph
Now Joseph had been taken down to Egypt. And Potiphar, an officer of Pharaoh, captain of the guard, an Egyptian, bought him from the Ishmaelites who had taken him down there. The Lord was with Joseph, and he was a successful man; and he was in the house of his master the Egyptian.
And his master saw that the Lord was with him and that the Lord made all he did to prosper in his hand. So, Joseph found favor in his sight and served him. Then he made him overseer of his house, and all that he had he put under his authority. So it was, from the time that he had made him overseer of his house and all that he had, that the Lord blessed the Egyptian’s house for Joseph’s sake; and the blessing of the Lord was on all that he had in the house and in the field (Genesis 39:1-5)

The gift of Mercy-
Just as God’s mercy is new every day, those with this gift go over and beyond the normal way of showing mercy as we all should have. This mercy goes beyond pity and compassion is shown in a way that the person who some may not think deserves mercy. I was given an example of a man who had needed a place to stay and another man took him in but put stipulations on the person in need.
We know that there are guidelines, but when we are showing mercy, giving, or whatever we do, there should never be stipulations, because that is an indication that our hearts are not in what we are doing. As it is with all the gifts we must grow.
This concludes the Motivational gifts given by our Father. I will share the gifts given by the Holy Spirit next.
