God is Seen Through Creation 11-1-24
Several things transpired yesterday, and each of them had purpose. At the Senior Center I met three additional sisters for the first time; what a blessing.
Later on, several other things happened. I sometimes wonder why the Lord has me in different places and His purpose gets revealed. How amazing our God is. Several of us were sitting on the benches outside the apartment complex and there were discussions about the happenings in our community of approximately one hundred people.
The biggest conversation was about negativity, and the opportunity arose for correction. If one is not spiritually minded they would not understand, but I believe everything that took place was orchestrated by the Lord.
A conversation came up about God and how did we know there was a God. I quickly shared what Romans 1:18-23 said: For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them.
For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse, because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened.
Professing to be wise, they became fools and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man—and birds and four-footed animals and creeping things.
Although some people may say they don’t believe there is a God, they cannot come up with an answer when it is shared that everybody knows there is a God. That basically ended our conversation. All of a sudden, I prayed for the person with the two sisters agreeing, and asked God to reveal Himself in away that the person would know that He is real. When we prayed, we believed and still do believe that something absolutely incredible is going to happen.
It is without a doubt that God is real and not only is His creative act of nature is seen, but others can also see us as His creation. Know that the Lord, He is God; it is He who has made us, and not we ourselves (Psalm 100:3), and we are made in His image. So, God created man in His own image; in the image of God, He created him; male and female He created them (Genesis 1:27).
Although His marvelous acts are seen, they cannot be compared to what it will be like in the eternal realm. For us in the here and now, God’s creation is beautiful, magnificent, awesome, and incredible!
Let’s continue to be in awe at the beauty of God’s creation, which includes us.
