I Shall Wear a Crown

Whether a person wears a crown or not is not the main reason for this message. Crowns and rewards will be distributed in heaven, depending on one’s faithfulness in serving mankind and fulfilling God’s purpose for their lives.

These are the lyrics that I am concentrating on; totally contrary to the Word of God:

I'm going to put on my robe, tell the story how I made it over (2x).

Breakdown

I'm going to put on my robe, tell the story how I made it over (vamp).

No one will put their robes on in glory:

And I heard, as it were, the voice of a great multitude, as the sound of many waters and as the sound of mighty thunderings, saying,

“Alleluia! For the Lord God Omnipotent reigns!  Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready.”

And to her it was granted to be arrayed in fine linen, clean and bright, for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints (Revelation 19:6-8).

We make ourselves ready while on earth by our righteous acts (conduct ourselves) and how faithful we are with our assignment.

Nobody will tell the story of how they made it over; this is Jesus’ time only when He judges the saints at the Judgement Seat of Christ.

So, then each of us shall give account of himself to God (Romans 14:12). For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad (2 Corinthians 5:10).

Example of someone not speaking when Jesus asked him how got in the wedding party.  So, he said to him,

‘Friend, how did you come in here without a wedding garment?’

And he was speechless (Matthew 22:12).

Soon as I get home (repeat).

Whoever came up with these lyrics, I hope they make it to heaven. They could be saved just as many others are, but they are too lazy to study the Word of God.

This is a command from God:

Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth (2 Timothy 2:15).

What to take from any of these messages: READ THE BIBLE!
