Today will be a continuation of “Unbiblical ‘Quotes’ Yesterday’s post was basically an insight about the ongoing messages of ‘quotes’ that do not line up with the Word of God and how it displeases our Perfect Father who has called His children to be perfect (mature) and represent Him well.

One scripture calls ambassadors of Christ (2 Corinthians 5:20a); or which I am an ambassador in chains; that in it I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak (Ephesians 6:20).

Ambassadors are confident, knowledgeable and speak boldly only what they are told to speak; they are trustworthy.

What does an ambassador do? From Word Study  4243 presbeúō (a verb derived from presbys, "an older, venerated person") – properly, to be elderly or mature, "to be the elder, to take precedence and hence act as an ambassador" (A-S). 4243 /presbeúō ("act as an ambassador") means to act as an established statesman (diplomat) – a trusted, respected ambassador who is authorized to speak as God's emissary (represent His kingdom). This term is used in the ancient phrase, "I am on embassy to the Emperor, I am an ambassador" (Souter) – i.e., as someone respected as trustworthy (loyal, knowledgeable), of those they know (belong to).

Question- Are you a true ambassador? The proof is how you conduct yourself and what comes from your mouth.  In other words, how well do you represent the Lord God?

For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ,  who will transform our lowly body that it may be conformed to His glorious body, according to the working by which He is able even to subdue all things to Himself (Philippians 3:20-21).

Now, to the first of a series of misquotes: “Walk Around Heaven All Day?” which absolutely and shamefully misquoted!

Two stanzas- number one:

One of these mornings, it won't be longYou'll look for me and I'll be gone - Correct

I'm going to a place where I'll have nothing to doBut just walk around Heaven all day

Incorrect- All of God’s children will go to heaven, but to have nothing to do but walk around heaven all day? Someone said to me “heaven must be boring” which is opposite of what the eternal realm really means. We who understand the truth know what has been revealed to us in the scriptures; the unsaved don’t know because they don’t understand the Word of God.

But as it is written; Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him. But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God.  For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God.

Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God. These things we also speak, not in words which man’s wisdom teaches but which the Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual.

But the natural [unsaved] man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned (1 Corinthians 2:9-14).

It is so sad that some Christians think like unsaved people because they have not searched the scriptures and see how they connect, relate, and support the other.

Tomorrow I plan to continue with part two. Please take the quotes seriously and never make a joke out of the Word of God; that’s treading on dangerous grounds and there are severe consequences.
