Who is Like Our God Understanding His Unique Qualities 7-24-26

No one or nothing can be compared to our God.

How in the world can anyone deny that the Lord God Almighty is not the true and living God? Everybody knows there is a GOD: For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse (Romans 1:20).

The fool hath said in his heart, there is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good (Psalm 14:1).

The God of true believers made the sun, the moon, earth and stars, who can be compared to our God. The earth is the Lord’s, and all its fullness, the world and those who dwell therein (Psalm 24:1).

I hear about many different beliefs and also come in contact with people of various beliefs. I also hear people say that people should respect others religious beliefs. I am friendly with people but the conversation about what or who they believe doesn’t come up.

Why?

Because anyone who has been around me long enough knows that I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek (Romans 1:16).

I would definitely say that speaking boldly and with the power of the Spirit comes with the call. After being around so many people with different beliefs, I have learned much. Also, the Lord had me searching for information about cults and false religions since the late 1980’s. When God gives us a specific assignment, it is necessary to have experience as well as the Word.

Today, I am going to compare these false teachers/prophets with my GOD! First of all, everyone of them is dead, and Jesus Christ was the only One to rise from the dead, never to die again. How many of these men roses from the dead. What can a statute do for you?

This reminds me of Elijah when he had a contest with certain people who served other gods.  So, they took the bull which was given them, and they prepared it, and called on the name of Baal from morning even till noon, saying, “O Baal, hear us!” But there was no voice; no one answered. Then they leaped about the altar which they had made.

And so it was, at noon, that Elijah mocked them and said, “Cry aloud, for he is a god; either he is meditating, or he is busy, or he is on a journey, or perhaps he is sleeping and must be awakened.” So, they cried aloud, and cut themselves, as was their custom, with knives and lances, until the blood gushed out on them. And when midday was past, they prophesied until the time of the offering of the evening sacrifice. But there was no voice; no one answered, no one paid attention.

And it came to pass, at the time of the offering of the evening sacrifice, that Elijah the prophet came near and said, “Lord God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, let it be known this day that You are God in Israel and I am Your servant, and that I have done all these things at Your word. Hear me, O Lord, hear me, that this people may know that You are the Lord God, and that You have turned their hearts back to You again.”

Then the fire of the Lord fell and consumed the burnt sacrifice, and the wood and the stones and the dust, and it licked up the water that was in the trench.  Now when all the people saw it, they fell on their faces; and they said, “The Lord, He is God! The Lord, He is God!”(1 Kings 18:25-29, 36-39).

Everyone that ever lived has died and people are worshipping these people’s statues or strongly believe in their false teaching.

Paul wrote this;  But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed. As we have said before, so now I say again, if anyone preaches any other gospel to you than what you have received, let him be accursed [condemned, banned] (Galatians 1:8-9).
