Proper Understanding Stops Confusion

Will all the Saints Go to Heaven When Jesus Returns? 5-11-26

Some say all the saints will not go up in the rapture, depending on the way they live. Where will they be then. Jesus is only coming one time for His saints, except for those who are saved during the tribulation.

The faithful and unfaithful Christians will stand before the Judgment Seat of Christ – only two judgments:  So, then each of us shall give account of himself to God (Romans 14:12). For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad. (2 Corinthians 5:10).

The great white throne judgment for unbelievers/unsaved:

The Great White Throne Judgment-Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away. And there was found no place for them.  And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life.

And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books. The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works.  Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.  And anyone who was not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire (Revelation 20:11-15).

The Comfort of Christ’s Coming

But I do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who have fallen asleep, lest you sorrow as others who have no hope.  For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus. For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep.

For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus, we shall always be with the Lord.  Therefore, comfort one another with these words (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18).

The disciples asked Jesus when the end would be- And what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?”  And Jesus answered and said to them: “Take heed that no one deceives you.  For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many. And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.  For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places.  All these are the beginning of sorrows (Matthew 24:3-8).

Then Jesus tells them about the tribulation- For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be. And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect’s sake those days will be shortened (Matthew 24:21-22).

One who studies and is taught properly will not get confused.
