The Fallen Never Forgotten! 9-27-26

Our God is Awesome!
It is a joy to do some of the things I truly love; one is traveling. A few days ago, the Lord blessed me to travel with my friend to three New Jersey shore points for the NJ 5K mile run for the Fallen. Although this was a four day event, we only stayed two days.
This was my second year attending the event which was well worth while. After arriving the first, we went had lunch and later to the Wildwood Air Museum where the banquet also took place. We arrived early enough to see some of the planes, We also enjoyed getting behind each military looking figure and taking pictures of whatever area of the military was represented.
The one I liked most was the astronaut because it reminded me of the song “Fly Me to the Moon” It was such and enjoyable time, listening to songs, special speaker, and delicious food. It was thee right time and place for good fellowship.
It was an awesome evening of remembering the fallen; also a powerful testimony of God’s goodness and His magnificence was told. Someone came to our table and was bold, courageous, and not ashamed to share the goodness of the Lord. When she shared all of us attested of God’s goodness. I am not at liberty to share publicly.
The next morning, we left the beautiful Icona hotel at Wildwood Crest and headed off to Cape May (Sunset Beach) for the beginning of the run; first stop in Cape May. My friend chose designated areas to stop.
The next stop for us was Sea Isle City, the point where her son and his friend were recognized for their service to our country at an early age.
This ended the part of the run for us; from there we headed home.
Thank the Lord that the fallen soldiers are not forgotten and their memories will live on through their “Gold Star” families.
