God Bless America!

My sister in Christ, fellow laborer in Christ, and friend took me with her to the American Legion Atco, Jersey for the second year to a “Service of Remembrance” 911 NEVER FORGET.

Information was presented “The Time Line” a countdown of each catastrophic situation that happened in three places- The twin towers, the Pentagon and Shanksville, PA. – very informative.

I felt as though this was a church service in that the songs, prayers, scripture reading, and the special guest speaker made me feel like I was in church. A “Gold Star Mother” introduced the special guest, and she acknowledged my friend Jackie who is also a “Gold Star Mother” The atmosphere was spiritual and inspiring.

At the beginning of the message, I mentioned that this was my second year attending such a heart warming service. Well with this being the twenty fifth anniversary of the worse attack on the United States of America, a video was shown of the countdown of catastrophes that took place. This was emotional and people wept/cried; as for me it was still unbelievable to watch the line of events right before my eyes.

This took me back twenty five years ago, only this time everything was shown. Whoever put this together, did such an awesome job and they are to be commended for their hard work and tireless effort of making the twenty fifth year even more unforgettable.

I am grateful to the Lord for a friend like Jackie Dixon whom He placed in my life, and whenever she hits the road I am riding with her or visa vera.
