A Wonderful Week Celebrating “Mothers” 5-12-25

I could not continue with my messages without ending it with the awesome blessings the Lord allowed me and others to receive during “Mother’s Day” week. It would be such an injustice not to give recognition to a church in the community that extends themselves so widely.

On Saturday, May 10, 2025, several of us from our apartment complex were part of Commitment church’s invitation; they were honoring “Mothers.” We were tremendously blessed from start to finish.

The event all started when each lady entered the building, a gift bag was handed to them. After everyone was settled, the pastor opened with a warm welcome and prayer, and then came brunch/lunch, live music, prizes, floral bouquets, plus taking photos. The atmosphere was very inviting; we felt welcomed by sooo many people, and I saw people that I had not seen in quite a while.

If anyone wants to gain others, outreach is the best way to draw people as the Spirit of God draws them. Love is the number one factor that causes our lights to shine brightly! (Matthew 5:16).

Thanks to Commitment Church for your extension of LOVE!

And! For “Mother’ s Day” Thanks to my friend family for inviting me to their cook-out. Also, I want to thank each person who reached out to me through text messages and Facebook. I had better not forget the beautiful gift (jewelry) from my niece; and when I opened my door Sunday morning to go walking inside the building before preparing to attend church, a package had been delivered from another niece with two dresses and a card in it.

Last week was definitely one of added blessings as I was honored and loved in various ways. I was full of joy in knowing how God sends people who honor me as “Mother” because it was and is His purpose for me to nurture them spiritually.
