Are You Wasting Your Time?

A Time and A Purpose for Everything

· Some people are so busy that they don’t spend quality time with God, yet they always Him to do for something for them. Don’t you think that is selfish? These directives are simple to follow and you will know what the will of God your Father is.

1) How did Jesus know what His Father’s will was? Example: Now in the morning, having risen a long while before daylight, He went out and departed to a solitary place; and there He prayed (Mark 1:35).The time was when Jesus spent time alone with God.

2) When Jesus walked on the earth He spent time ministering but He always spent time with His Father (God). In fact, He had to have spent time on a regular basis because Jesus said:

I can of Myself do nothing. As I hear, I judge; and My judgment is righteous, because I do not seek My own will but the will of the Father who sent Me (John 5:30). For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me (John 6:38). The purpose was to do His Father’s will.

· How are you going to know how to live your life according to God’s will, unless you spend time in His Word? Challenge: How much time do you spend with God?

Something to consider!
