I am mourning because my heart is sad as to the downward spiral (immoral decline) that the church is in.

A few months ago, I was told about a song “Boots on the Ground” and it was described as a Biblical meaning, and during the time a couple of videos were shown. Not one thing about that song had a Biblical connection.

As time went on this song would come up as a topic of discussion, but it never changed my way of thinking. The song was not intended to be spiritual; it is used along with the line dance for all age groups. The song gained popularity nationwide. All you need to do is pull the name up, and it is everywhere, on talk shows, videos, YouTube, even in Times Square! The saddest thing is, this song and dance are in some churches, which is absolutely absurd (inappropriate)!!!

It also exposes how worldly (carnal) -some people in the church are.  And I, brethren, could not speak to you as to spiritual people but as to carnal, as to babes in Christ. I fed you with milk and not with solid food; for until now you were not able to receive it, and even now you are still not able;  for you are still carnal (1 Corinthians 3:1-2a).

About a week ago, I saw a video of the song being danced to in a church; it was unbelievable how the people had on their cowboy hats and boots with fans in their hands, as they were dancing to the song. It was disgusting, shameful and a mockery. All I could say was “Lord help, Lord have mercy” The church  has left her first love, committing spiritual adultery and gone a whoring after other gods.

“Boots on the Ground” is okay in its place (it’s a worldly song), but when it comes to accepting it in the church (house of God), which Jesus Himself said My house shall be called the “House of Prayer” (Isaiah 56:7, Matthew 21:13, Mark 11:17, and Luke 19:46), when it comes to God’s church, that is a horse of a different color! We’re in the world, but not of the world (John 17:14-16). The warning is for the church to get right with God; those who are compromising. I encourage you to stand up for what is right, if not, you’ll fall for anything.

Please stand up for what is right, and don’t fall for any and everything that comes your way. We are salt and light, don’t let your salt lose its flavor where it becomes no good for anything, and don’t be a light hidden behind a bushel that has no glow (Matthew 5:13-16).

FYI- AI Overview

"Boots on the Ground" by 803Fresh has become a very popular song, particularly within the context of a viral line dance craze. It topped the Billboard R&B Digital Song Sales chart and the Adult R&B Airplay chart. The song's popularity is further fueled by its presence at weddings, cookouts, and even celebrity-endorsed dance challenges, according to The New York Times
