The Criteria for a God Success Ministry

There are so many ministries that have been started and they appear to have good success (the world’s kind of success) but having God’s kind of success is beneficial now and in eternity.

Let’s talk about how to get on the right path if someone has veered off course. Go back and follow God’s guidelines for having a God success ministry. Remember that you are not the only one or the first. It is evident that many ministries have not started off the right way.

Every child of God is a minister in one aspect or another, but some have started off without following the  Biblical guidelines. In our Bible study, Romans 12 is the ministry chapter. It tells us what it is required to have God approved ministry. Verse 1 says: I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.

This is step one; people presenting themselves to God willingly by giving their all to Him, not being conformed to this world, but are being continually transformed then all the other verses pertaining to how we are to think and act will fall into place.

We must get beyond it being about us, little does some know that we must face Jesus Christ who was crucified for our sins. Therefore, consider what is being done; is God really being glorified? Are these people truly yielding to God's Spirit?

Example

Were you trained properly, or did you feel like you heard from the Lord, and just jumped into ministry. Some people have mega churches but that is not evidence of them having a God (good) success ministry.

This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go (Joshua 1:8-9).

When we follow God’s guidelines, regardless of what comes our way, He is our Keeper. The Lord is your keeper; The Lord is your shade at your right hand. The sun shall not strike you by day, nor the moon by night. The Lord shall preserve you from all evil; He shall preserve your soul. The Lord shall preserve your going out and your coming in from this time forth, and even forevermore (Psalm 121:6-8).

Next week I will plan to share examples of several people God called and what they went through before God raised them up (elevated or promoted them).
