Fearfully and Wonderfully Made By God Almighty 3-7-26

I see people posting images of themselves; it appears that they are trying to be more beautiful. Today, I want to tell you how God views or what He thinks about you. Why is this being written? Because it is apparent that these people don’t like their looks. But Christians should not feel that way.

I want to encourage you by sharing you what the Word of says you are. There has to be a root to why someone would not feel good about their looks.

There could be several reasons why they want to enhance their looks. One thing that stands out is the deception that comes from the world’s view. The world tells people ways of being accepted; so, the more attractive one becomes, the more they stand out and accepted. Please don’t fall for the ways of the world.

Not only that, buying all those products can be costly. And one company competes against another, and all that money is spent to try this and that. Wasted time is spent on certain things that distract people. They are putting their focus on outward appearance rather than inward beauty.

Many psalms written by David were praises because he knew God and his relationship with the Lord was so intimate that it drove him to praise and worship. David understood how much God loved him. David praised God because he knew what God had done for him; awesomely made him as His masterpiece.

I will praise You, for I am fearfully (Hebrew- awesomely) and wonderfully made;

Verse that connects:

For we are His workmanship (masterpiece),  created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them (Ephesians 2:10).

Second part of verse: Marvelous are Your works, and that my soul knows very well (Psalm 139:14). If anything is marred , it is not God’s fault; He wants you to look at yourself the way HE sees you.

Because Your lovingkindness is better than life, my lips shall praise You. Thus, I will bless You while I live; I will lift up my hands in Your name. My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness, And my mouth shall praise You with joyful lips. I will lift up my hands in Your name (Psalm 63:3-5).

Praise - to revere/worship with extended hands.

I will praise You, O LORD, with my whole heart; I will tell of all Your marvelous works. I will be glad and rejoice in You; I will sing praise to Your name, O Most High (Psalm 9:1-2).

Somebody ought to praise God right now; you are special to Him. Don’t let the devil deceive you into thinking something has to be done to make you beautiful, I did not say to enhance your beauty but to do a complete makeover because you don’t like your looks. Just don’t look fake!

Beauty is only skin deep- Don’t you know that it is your inner person, not the outward one. Many people may not be attractive to others, but their attitude and the godly way they conduct themselves makes them beautiful on the outside. I have seen some people who were absolutely amazingly beautiful on the outside, the way they conducted themselves was in such an ugly manner. When true praise and worship becomes the main part of a person’s life, outer looks will be on the back burner.

I pray that this message be of encouragement to each of you.
