God’s Grace – Testimony 9-6-25

As I was looking at some old photos, there were several of me back in the day, and I felt that the readers who didn’t know me then would see where the Lord has brought me from. I am sure that most of us have different experiences of your bad past. But, since we are different (unique) we have our personal testimony of your lives then and the wonderful change that has taken place.

None of us have been saved all of our lives  (from our perspective).

I must say this from God’s perspective- Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations.” (Jeremiah 1:5).

And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover, whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified (Romans 8:28-30).

I am not ashamed to tell everybody what the Lord has done for me and the change that continues to take place through the process of sanctification. This is what I tell others. If you knew me way back then, you know that God has done something in my life- a wonderful change has come over me, praise thee Lord!

I truly can relate to Paul the apostle about God’s amazing grace. But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace toward me was not in vain; but I labored more abundantly than they all, yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me (1 Corinthians 15:10).Even though I still have issues (have not arrived),  I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus (Philippians 3:14).

Ps. My life was so messed up when I told a co-worker that I was saved, she laughed in my face, walked away, came back, and started laughing again in disbelief.

This is just a short version of the many testimonies. I pray that you will be encouraged and motivated to press forward in your walk with Christ.

Ps. When looking at this generation of people and saying what they are doing is shameful; what about us? Look at the way I dressed; it is definitely buying the grace of God that I am what I am! I will admit that things get worse, but we do not look down on them.

We do not agree with them, but we should do whatever possible to encourage and even correct them in love. As a teenager and my older years, some people said what I was doing was shameful.

Next week, there will be a post about my call in ministry.
