Gone so Soon!

A loved One Gone on to be With the Lord 7-11-24

Good morning to all of you!

Our family lost two dearly beloved recently, Donald “Huck” Troutman and Albert Burke.

I posted a message on my birthday (July 5), sharing with the readers about the loss of a dear friend. Albert’s name wasn’t posted earlier because many of his family members were not aware that he had passed.

You cannot imagine what it felt like for me to come to Greensboro with expectations of traveling with him to his family gathering in Selma, Alabama, and to find out he was deceased. O’ my God, what a terrible blow! We also had plans to fellowship at a restaurant with quite a few of his inner circle of friends who were also his brothers and sisters in Christ at a restaurant on Saturday, July 13.

Albert was known and loved by many people in Greensboro, NC where he resided for almost thirty years. He was also loved and was like a family member to my family, in Guilford and Alamance counties. In addition to those in North Carolina, Albert was truly loved by my family and friends who were also his family and friends. He certainly was a BONUS to us, as well as family and friends in Camden, NJ, Pennsauken, NJ, Lindenwold, NJ, Staten Island, NY, and Philadelphia, PA.

In the next few days, I will write about Albert E. Burke and how he was a blessing to so many people. I feel it would be an injustice to all those friends and his bonus family not to share the story of such a phenomenal man of God.

I will be posting what I feel that Albert would want me to share pertaining the 33 years of knowing him- his addiction (struggles) and how he eventually overcame it; he was my personal teacher, his involvement with Burnett Ministries, and so on.

Thank you for your concern, your love, and your prayers. God bless you ~

Grace and Peace (Shalom)
