I don't have much to say, but short words mean much when it comes to celebrating a well deserved "Freedom" it means a lot! So, join us in this day that has been declared an official holiday that we can enjoy the history of those slaves who were freed in Galveston, Texas on June 19, 1865.
May the blessings of the Lord be showered on you who honor freedom and heritage. I am a grateful to be alive and witness this holiday. Most of all, I experience freedom that many others may not have.
To be free in Christ is the greatest “Freedom” of all because to know who I am in Him makes all the difference in the world.
They answered Him, “We are Abraham’s descendants, and have never been in bondage to anyone. How can You say, ‘You will be made free’?” Jesus answered them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, whoever commits sin is a slave of sin. And a slave does not abide in the house forever, but a son abides forever. Therefore, if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed (John 8:32-36).
I am free, praise the Lord I’m free; no more chains holding me; my souls is resting, it’s just a blessing “Hallelujah” praise the Lord I’m free”
