How Should People be Drawn to the Church/Christ? 10-8-26
God’s way is always the best way!
Many people come and go in certain churches because there is no substance; no first principles being taught, not elementary, nothing to build on the foundation of Christ.
They need to be built on the foundation of Christ.
Having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the Chief Cornerstone (Ephesians 2:20).
In the natural realm, a child starts off in kinder garden, from there to elementary school, on the middle school to high school and many pursue a higher education, the more for some people the more successful they become. It’s the same when one is building properly on the foundation of Christ, they are mature and more effective in ministry. They are also rewarded on earth, and most importantly in the eternal realm.
This is what happens when one is not trained in the Word of God properly. For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you again the first principles of the oracles of God; and you have come to need milk and not solid food (Hebrews 5:12).
No gimmicks, no forms of entertainment! The unadulterated (pure) Word of God! Every word of God is pure; He is a shield to those who put their trust in Him. If drawing people is not done according to God’s holy Word, then it will not last.
Only what Christ tells us to do will last; so many say. “Only what you do for Christ will last” Not true! Only what Christ tells us to do will last.
Man’s way may last temporarily, but God’s way (The Way) last forever. But the Word of the Lord endures forever (1 Peter 1:25).
The Lord [the Word] is our Keeper (Psalm 121:5). How is that? The church needs to build properly on the foundation of Christ The Word of God sustains us.
When worshipping God, the right way He gets glorified; learn how to worship Him. This is a spiritual walk, not a fleshy walk that is built on our emotions. That’s why we worship Him in spirit and in truth (John 4:4).
Are you believing that you are worshipping God because your emotions are high? Emotions come and go, but the Word of God lasts forever. The grass withers, the flower fades but the word of our God stands forever (Isaiah 40:8).
