A Horrible Death that Would Bring “New Life”
Every church that I have been affiliated with has celebrated “Good Friday” Reason being they say Jesus died on Friday and rose early the first day of the week (Sunday). People of the Most High God, how can that be?
Somebody needs to take a math class and learn addition.
I had a conversation with someone earlier this week and the discussion about Good Friday came up. I attended church on that Friday for many years; even after I knew the truth. The most ironic thing was. I attended a service a couple of years ago to show my support. Was it wrong for me to do that? Of course it was!
However, I was convicted and choose not to attend another Good Friday service unless the Lord leads me to one and there would have to be a reason for it that would bring honor and glory to Him.
Back to my conversation about Good Friday, I asked her how could anyone get three days from Friday to Sunday?
Then I shared the scripture that Jesus spoke: For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the great fish, so will the Son of Man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth (Matthew 12:40, Jonah 1:17).
I told the person that Jesus had to die on a Thursday for Him to be in the heart of the earth three days. She looked up on her phone and it said the same thing- that Jesus had to die on a Thursday!

Then she handed me a small pamphlet and this was unbelievable! A group who do not believe that Jesus is God and say that Jesus is a god (little g)- (John 1:1), knows that Jesus died on a Thursday.
That is downright shameful that the Children of God believe Jesus was crucified on Friday and rose early the first day of the week (Sunday). Why is it every time I turn around someone is saying God is a liar? You may not think it is, but the truth is, if what is being said does not line up with the Word of God; and is changed to suit the tradition of man, which is saying that God is a liar.
For what if some did not believe? Will their unbelief make the faithfulness of God without effect? Certainly not! Indeed, let God be true but every man a liar. As it is written (Romans 3:3-4).
In essence, if people don’t believe God, it does not make His Word change. One would have to be crazy (a fool) to think that God is going to pull Himself down to their level. “For My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways My ways,” says the Lord. “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9).
This is what I believe according some conversations, some of these people know better but because it was passed down from their forefathers in ministry, they are not humble enough to say the former leaders were in error.
I have overcome my fears, because I know that God is for me What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? (Romans 8:31).
This is what I believe according some conversations, some of these people know better but because it was passed down from their forefathers in ministry, they are not humble enough to say the former leaders were in error. And they don’t study to show themselves approved to God….. (2 Timothy 2:15).
So, the master commended the unjust steward because he had dealt shrewdly. For the sons of this world are more shrewd in their generation than the sons of light (Luke 16:8). Example: AI (of the world system) knows much more than many of God’s children.
