Jesus Teachings on Titles and Humility

Continuing about Jesus and who the entire Word of God is centered around, this message is to warn and bring awareness to those who are abusing titles.
For they don’t practice what they teach. They crush people with unbearable religious demands and never lift a finger to ease the burden. Everything they do is for show. On their arms they wear extra wide prayer boxes with Scripture verses inside, and they wear robes with extra-long tassels.
And they love to sit at the head table at banquets and in the seats of honor in the synagogues. They love to receive respectful greetings as they walk in the marketplaces, and to be called ‘Rabbi’ [a title given to the Doctor of Law] (Matthew 23:3b-7).
Office means to function in an authoritative position.
Example: This is a faithful saying: If a man desires the position of a [office] bishop, he desires a good work. Since 1 Timothy, chapter three connects, supports and relate to the five ministry gifts who function as the leaders of the church given by Jesus in Ephesians 4:11, then whatever He says is true; any and everyone else is a liar.
The words bishop, elder, superintendent are all interchangeable and they mean the same thing. Therefore, whoever is using reverend as a title does not understand the gifts (fivefold ministry) gave to the church to develop and train the people up in ministry; to help them grow spiritually (Ephesians 4:11-16).
Have you ever wondered why the church is so out of order and the devil is taking over? The answer is, the church is not functioning the way God has ordained in to. When that happens, the demons will be recognized and they will not be as influential. The enemy is always going to invade (attack) the church, but the influence will not be as prevalent (widespread).
Let’s go to the word reverend and how it is still being used as a title in many denominational churches. However, a great number of them changed for what they thought was a title that belonged to them because of their position. Now they mainly use pastor, bishop and elder, with that being so, some of them still don’t understand the fivefold ministry offices.
Holy and reverend is His name, which is not a title; it means to give God the highest respect. Reverend is to be used of God alone and not anyone else. He has sent redemption to His people; He has commanded His covenant forever: Holy and reverend [awesome] is His name (Psalm 111:9).
Anyone who is called by God should be a servant, instead of lording over the people, The elders who are among you I exhort, I who am a fellow elder and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and also a partaker of the glory that will be revealed: Shepherd the flock of God which is among you, serving as overseers, not by compulsion but willingly, not for dishonest gain but eagerly; nor as being lords over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock; and when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the crown of glory that does not fade away (1 Peter 5:1-4).
True shepherds feed and protect the sheep. Shepherd is another interchangeable word for pastor.
Please stop using something that does not belong to you. No human being is on the same level as God.
