Let God be True and Every Man (person) a Liar 11-14-25

A friend looks at reels and she will send them to me. Some of the scriptures are not rightly divided, and what is even worse some of these people don’t use scriptures to connect or back up what they are saying.

For what if some did not believe? Will their unbelief make the faithfulness of God without effect?  Certainly not! Indeed, let God be true but every man a liar (Romans 3:4).

I watched this particular reel a few times to be sure if I heard the person correctly. She was talking about others who were in error, but she knew the truth. This was what she said: “God did not become a man and die for our sins.

“She involved the Trinity (Triune) God, being three in one” that part was true until she said. This is a warning to the readers; “If someone does not use scriptures as proof to what they are sharing, please do not be open to what they are saying.

From many years of personal study and being taught principles about the Word of God, you will never hear me write or say anything pertaining to the Word of God unless there are scriptures to back it up. These are scriptures that prove Jesus is God; one hundred percent man and one hundred percent God.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.  He was in the beginning with God. Jesus was GOD! And He still is! All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made.  In Him was life, and the life was the light of men.  And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it (John 1:1-5). This scripture connects with Colossians 1:15-18. Jesus created all things.

He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones, dominions, principalities, or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him.  And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist. And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the first born from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence (Colossians 1:15-18).

One writer says it could mean firstborn (preeminence in position which makes sense.

God said in the beginning: “Let Us” – the Father Son and Holy Spirit in oneness (Genesis 1:26). Although the first twenty five verses say God, it is clear that the Three in One were involved in creation. Not only does the Word say everything was created through (by) Christ, but the Holy Spirit was also and is the power behind it all- and the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters (Genesis 1:2).

A body was prepared (Hebrews 10:5). The Word was made flesh and dwelt among men (John 1:14). Jesus said: “Before Abraham was, I AM” (John 8:58), meaning He was God.

Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men.  And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross.  Therefore, God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name, which is above every name,  that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father (Philippians 2:5-11).

Jesus said: Therefore, I said to you that you will die in your sins; for if you do not believe that I am He, you will die in your sins.” (John 8:24). Let God be true and every man a liar.

I don’t understand the Word of God fully, but I do trust every Word of God to be true, because I don’t lean to my own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6). Every word of God is pure; He is a shield to those who put their trust in Him (Proverbs 30:5).
