Thanks to All of My Friends and Family in North Carolina
I am profoundly grateful for the love that was put into action while I was in Greensboro. All of you knew what I was going through and you went over and beyond to extend Agape love!
Thank you Marva, Velvet and family, and Helen who was so hospitable in opening her beautiful home to me in such a loving way. Also, Greensboro, High Point, Brown Summit and Raleigh friends, I appreciate your being there.
For all of you who showed up at Golden Corral for what I thought was a memorial, thanks for extending your love to me in honoring my birthday. This is the testimony about God giving us favor with the restaurant. Because of the challenges in three of the ministry officers, we had to do some last minute planning for our fellowship.
We prayed and believed the Lord was going to give us favor for our fellowship to be in a private room so we could have a joyful time together at 2 o’ clock in the afternoon. We had a plan; I was to go to the place an hour early and make a plea with the assistant manager. Three others came early to be with me. In talking to her, she seemed a little apprehensive; she went and talked to the manager.
The assistant manager came back and told me that people on a tour bus had just finished eating and we could have the biggest part of the room which accommodated thirty to thirty five people, which was exactly right for us. And it would take at least a half hour to clean up the area. That was about the time most of the people would be there.
Ain’t God good? Won’t He do it? GOD Did It!
I thank each of you for expressing love in various ways. To my Facebook family and friends everywhere, you were absolutely wonderful. Your prayers were also of utmost importance. If it had not been for the Lord and you, I would have lost it. There were opposing forces coming against me, but with your encouragement and prayers, I was able to overcome every fiery dart the devil was throwing at me. In addition to how the Lord used you, His Spirit also gave me this: Follow peace with all people.
My victory is knowing that it is not flesh and blood that I wrestle with (Ephesians 6:10-18), but the devil wants us to fight against each other. Holding my peace does not mean that I’m weak, it is one of the marks of a matured Christian. Remember this, we take care of the evil forces that are influencing people, and the Lord takes care of the people (Romans 12:17-21). We're not responsible for other peoples' actions; only for our own!
Thanks again family and friends everywhere, I love you!
Ps. Thanks to my family and friends who blessed me so generously before the trip to North Carolina, and after I returned to New Jersey. I’m still celebrating my birthday!!! Praise the Lord everybody!
