Traveling is what I Love to do!
When the Lord opens the door of opportunity, I’ll walk through it; when He opens the road to travel, I will either ride with someone else or drive myself.
Saturday trip- My friend asked me to ride with her to Asbury Park, New Jersey for her to visit another friend. She drove to part of the downtown area, and it really built up my interest; I had never been to there before.
From there we went to her friend’s house and visited for a few hours. Prior to leaving I used the bathroom after my friend came out.
INTERESTING: I had written a message to be posted Sunday, titled: “Be Still and Know that God is God the I Am”- When I washed my hands the liquid soap bottle had this on it
“Be Still” I was so happy to tell the two ladies what was on the soap bottle and that a message was being posted on Sunday.
Sunday trip- Sunday trip- After one of my bonus niece’s and I arrived at the house in Cape May Courthouse; this is what I saw on a picture hanging on the living room wall: “Be still and know that I am and at the house God” (Psalm 46:1). That was enough to make me want to shout!
Purpose for the Trip- We were there to see the new addition to the Burnett family who was born Monday, June 22nd . This little precious bundle is the only male in our immediate that is carrying the Burnett name and he has two Biblical names. To my knowledge I am the first family member to hold him due to his great-grandmother and aunt’s circumstances that prevented them from being there to hold him.

This is not an unusual situation pertaining to me being the first and the oldest in the family. In 2002 after the Europe trip my sister and went to the hospital to see her granddaughter who was in labor (little Aaron’s mother to be almost twenty four years later).
The nurse asked one of us to assist; my sister said “Not me” so I guess you know who did. I have felt over these many years that God arranged for me to bond with my niece, because He had a specific purpose for us. It is still not fully understood it by and by, but for now, to God be the glory for what He has done, for what He is doing and for what He is going to do.
By permission of Jeliyah, this post is to acknowledge with gratitude to Joannie (grandmother) and Markeeta (aunt) who could not visit little Aaron yet, due to circumstances beyond their control. You supported and showed love through your generosity. Thanks to Carla who sacrificed her time to ride with me and how she lavished the baby with gifts.
Thanks to Chester who is like a father to my niece for being in her life as one of her biggest supporters; to Ms. Janis who has been a mentor and mother figure for the past twelve years and ALL of you wonderful people who have been a tremendous blessing to both the mother and baby.
I love this by AI -To understand the significance of "children are a heritage of the Lord" (NKJV), consider these key points:
Children are viewed as a blessing and gift from God. They represent hope for the future and continuity of family values. Parenting is a sacred responsibility entrusted by God. Raising children involves nurturing their spiritual and moral development. The verse emphasizes the importance of valuing and cherishing children. It encourages gratitude and appreciation for the role of children in our lives.
