Open Our Eyes That We May See
We are into the final days of what is called “Black History or African American History” month. I pray that the ones who did not understand some things about our history, can see things more clearly.
It is important that we know about all aspects of history. I wrote in a previous message about the importance of history and how Biblical history is the most important of all. It is the foundation for every kind of history because everything started with God.
I was challenged and some things were said against me because of what has been written. I just take it with a grain of salt. The devil does not want people to know the truth, therefore he uses those who are ignorant of the Word to say evil things. Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake. Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you (Matthew 5:11-12).
How do we rejoice when all these forces are coming against us? We know that the kingdom of God is advancing, so we should be glad that we are making a difference for the glory of God.
The Kingdom of God is being advanced and the kingdom of darkness is being exposed and defeated. And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force (Matthew 11:12).
As long as anyone remains ignorant or stays in darkness about things that are relevant, the devil is happy. I use this phrase often: “If you don’t know where you came from, how do you knowing where you are going. As with the Bible, one must know the foundation of their faith in order to have good [God’s kind of success] in life (Joshua 1:8).
