Praise God from Whom all Blessings Flow! What a mighty God we belong to!

I always love to share with readers what is happening in my life, and especially when it comes to my health. Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers (3 John 2).

I experienced a serious affliction with that deadly Covid-19, the second time since March 2024. The two were so different from each other. The most recent one was a real doozie! My legs were so weak that it felt like they were going to collapse. The continually hacking dry cough and fatigue took its toll on me. I am still experiencing two side effects from the medicine- headaches and slight brain fog.

My life is transparent; an open book, epistle (letter) of the Word of God. You are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read by all men; clearly you are an epistle of Christ, ministered by us, written not with ink but by the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of flesh, that is, of the heart (2 Corinthians 3:2-3). Some people may not pick up the Bible and read it.

I overcome every obstacle, persecution, trial and so on, by the blood of the Lamb, and the word of my testimony (Revelation 2:11). Principle: Even though this is referring to those saints who were not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ (Romans 1:16), and their lives were on the line, they were determined to hold on to their faith even if it cost them their lives.

The blood of Jesus not only cleansed me from my sin, but He was also wounded and suffered physical for my healing (Isaiah 53:5, 1 Peter 2:24). That’s why I enjoy sharing my stories, because it encourages and edify others so their faith can be built up.

In addition to Covid, I was also suffering with carpal tunnel syndrome, and the pain would wake me up in the middle of the night. Suffering from that agonizing pain was causing some serious issues. I had an appointment with my surgeon and she referred me to a hand specialist who had done a procedure on her hand (trigger finger).

I also shared my situation with the church secretary and when she found out the name of the doctor, he was highly recommended by her. The doctor had performed numerous procedures on several trigger fingers on her hand.

I had an appointment the contracted Covid; I had to reschedule, until  a couple of days ago. Let me back up and say that my prayer partners and I were believing that it would not be a surgical procedure and we stuck to what we believed.

The Word says: Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all (Psalm 34:19). Many is really the correct word to use when it comes to being afflicted. Sometimes it seems as though they will not stop, before getting over one affliction, another one comes. Yet we overcome because the Word of God is true.

This is especially important; although many afflictions came and will still come, they never stopped me from doing the work of the ministry; just slowed me down temporarily. I continued to write despite the carpal tunnel syndrome, glory to GOD!

Lastly, much that comes upon and in our bodies can be due to the way we abused our temples in the past, and it catches up with us, BUT GOD is still our Keeper!

Be encouraged and keep moving on up; that’s what I’m doing! PS. “Happy Father’s Day”
