Understanding What the Word of God Says About Sinners in Scripture 3-16-26

I have written about “ For ALL have sinned and fall short of the Glory of God (Romans 3:23). However, this message is being written a different way to clear up any misunderstanding of who we are in Christ Jesus.
Most people single out a scripture instead of reading what’s before and what is after to understand the Word within its proper context, which leads to misunderstanding and confusion. We know that God is not the Author of confusion, so who is? Satan! Every time the Holy Spirit prompts me to share another way to make the scripture clearer, I am going to continue until someone gets it; especially some leaders.
This is what the Lord wants us to remember:
For My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways My ways,” says the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts.
For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven, and do not return there, but water the earth, and make it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the Sower and bread to the eater, so shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; it shall not return to Me void [empty], but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it (Isaiah 55:8-11).
Have sinned - 264 (Greek): miss the mark, swerve from the way, to err in action, to do wrong, sin, to stumble, fall by the way, to go astray- Sinners don’t do any of these; they just sin, that’s their nature (lifestyle)
Past tense: Romans 3:9-12
Comparison: There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1). A Sinner is condemned (separated from God); a born again believer gets convicted, is aware of the sinner and is convinced that it is wrong and repents from the sin. But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.
If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:7-9). Our salvation is already secure, but we are required to walk in the light; conduct ourselves in the right way.
Jesus was separated from sinners- Also there were many priests because they were prevented by death from continuing. But He, because He continues forever, has an unchangeable priesthood. Therefore, He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them.
For such a High Priest was fitting for us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and has become higher than the heavens; (Hebrews 7:24-26). The earthly priests could not be the perfect sacrifice for sins, so Jesus the perfect High Priest took our sins (cleansed us) and we were delivered from the law of sin and death
Sinners do not know how to do anything but sin. What then? Are we better than them? Not at all. For we have previously charged both Jews and Greeks that they are all under sin. As it is written: There is none righteous, no, not one; there is none who understands; there is none who seeks after God. They have all turned aside; they have together become unprofitable, there is none who does good, no, not one.
”Their throat is an open tomb; with their tongues they have practiced deceit;” the poison of asps is under their lips;” whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness.” Their feet are swift to shed blood; destruction and misery are in their ways; and the way of peace they have not known.” There is no fear of God before their eyes (Romans 3:9-18).
Notice this: Paul said everybody (the whole world was under sin, which includes the Jews who were God’s special treasure under the old covenant, yet they thought they were okay. The moral pagans who did good deeds thought they were okay. They may not have done some of the things that the heathens did, but they were under sin, until they were made righteous by Christ.
That’s just part of it; there is more. The Lord wants you to know who you are in Christ.
Challenge -We are new creatures in Christ; old things are passed away ALL things are new (1 Corinthians 5:17). What does ALL mean to you?
