Queen For a Day! 10-17-26
These Ladies had their own special signature.
Seven of us at the center participated in creating “Headwraps” It was so much fun. The ladies were encouraged to give it a shot at making their own headwraps, even though some of them had no prior experience.
One lady went in the restroom and came out with her design- she did a “great job!” These ladies also helped others to make headwraps. Additionally, someone came to assist the manager and she was a pro at it. How timely!
Thank the Lord for the persons who came up with the idea. One of the younger seniors is quite creative; some of her headwraps were designed from girls’ tights, which were easy to make. That really perked up all of our interest!
I had named one of the ladies our “Queen for the Day” but after seeing how we all are queens, it is suitable to call each of us “Queen for a Day.” In reality we are not just queens for a day, but we are also queens everyday!
On behalf of the Lindenwold Seniors, thanks to our managers who agree with us to come up with our own ideas at the center, which makes us enjoy coming. This adds extra flavor or spice to other things we are involved with at the center. It is with much gratitude that we acknowledge publicly how much we appreciate the Borough of Lindenwold and Camden County for helping us to have a better quality of life.
