Word for Today 5-30-25

Are you believing the Lord to do a Mark 11:23-24.

Therefore have faith in God. For truly I say to you, that whoever says to this mountain [giant situation], be removed and be cast into the sea, but shall believe those things that he [she] shall come to pass, he [she] shall have whatever he [she] says.

Therefore I say to you, whatever things you desire, when you pray, believe that you receive them and you shall have them. This is not presumptuous faith, it is faith believing God's Word, and praying His Word.

Caution:

Please remember that whatever we do, it should always be according to God's will.

Notice that Jesus said whatever things. This is not talking about a name it, claim it thing, declaring or decreeing things.

It's about God’s will being done. Suppose God would not do what we asked. That's where we must trust that God knows best.

If the prayer is not answered the way we think is should be, don't get discouraged,  God knows what's best for His people. Something much better than what we

looked for is going to happen.

Be encouraged during the wait, God is doing something with the wait too. He's maturing His people. If what you are believing for doesn't happen at all, don't feel bad. God honors your faith. Yet, He wants us to believe for His will to be done. God's will is always for His Glory and to encourage His people.

Example of God knowing what’s best: When my mother was deadly sick, I asked a prayer partner to believe with me that my mother would live. After considering things that Momma said in the past, she did not want to stay here; her desire was to be with the Lord.
