The seniors at the complex where I reside were blessed with a scrumptious luncheon on “Juneteenth” Our management, two Alumni Soros, blessed us as if we were kings and queens (we are).

We were also blessed to have our mayor present to show his support, along with the township administrator (also an Alumni  Sorority) to serve us. This really stands out with us because some seniors feel all alone and left out because of their age. Some of them may think that no one cares for them, but where I live, the Lord has blessed us with many things that benefit us.

I am experiencing something totally different, and it is proven over and over by the way certain groups reach out to us, and it certainly motivates us to “Keep it Moving”

To everyone who blessed us whatever capacity to serve us seniors in, we are grateful. It is people with a willing heart who serve unselfishly with LOVE. That’s why we can say “Ain’t nothing stopping us now, because of people like those mentioned above, we are going to “Keep it Moving”

On behalf of grateful seniors,

Betty A. Burnett
