Autumn Lockwood Becomes First Black Woman Coach To Win Super Bowl Following Philadelphia Eagles’ Victory

Autumn Lockwood, the assistant performance coach for the Philadelphia Eagles, entered the NFL record books on Sunday after the team’s 40-22 victory at Super Bowl LIX

Black History Month got much sweeter in more ways than one when Jalen Hurts and his teammates defeated the Kansas City Chiefs, earning the franchise its second Vince Lombardi Trophy.

Additionally, this resulted in Lockwood achieving another historic milestone as the first Black woman coach to win a Super Bowl championship. She celebrated the monumental moment by posting a photo of her in the locker room holding the trophy in one hand with a cigar in the other. It was accompanied by the caption, “WORLD CHAMPS 🏆 | SUPER BOWL LIX 🎉 GOD IS SO GOOD 🙏🏽✨ 🦅💚 #gobirds

Lockwood marked her place as a trailblazer when the Eagles lost Super Bowl LVII, making her the first black woman to coach in a Super Bowl.]

Thank the Lord for all the African American history in Philadelphia, the “City of Brotherly Love” – I know some people may question whether the Love is in Philly, but from my biblical knowledge and understanding, the devil is attacking the city because of its rich history of African Americans. He hates us and he does everything to make us hate each other. The devil came to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10a), but regardless of how much damage he’s doing, our Sovereign God is still in total control.

You may ask if that is true why is God allowing all this evil to happen in Philadelphia. Evil is everywhere, but in some places the forces are greater, and because we are living in a sinful world, God has to allow certain things to happen. Adam ate the forbidden fruit (Genesis 2:17); and every person is affected by it.

No longer cursed but affected by the curse (Galatians 3:13).
