The Days are Evil
We are living in sad times, but as born-again believers, the Word of God tells us about the things that will take place. Therefore, We should not be shaken about the things that are already happening. This also confirms that the Word of God is true.
Jesus said, and I believe it. And Jesus answered and said to them: “Take heed that no one deceives you. For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many.
And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation [different nationalities], and kingdom against kingdom [countries]. And there will be famines [people starving], pestilences [all types of diseases], and earthquakes [volcanoes, tsunamis] in various places. All these are the beginning of sorrows (Matthew 24:4-8).
There is also division in the church (body of Christ). Now I plead with you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment (1 Corinthians 1:10).
And I, brethren, could not speak to you as to spiritual people but as to carnal, as to babes in Christ. I fed you with milk and not with solid food; for until now you were not able to receive it, and even now you are still not able; for you are still carnal. For where there are envy, strife, and divisions among you, are you not carnal and behaving like mere men? (1 Corinthians 3:1-3).
We are commissioned to carry the Gospel (Matthew 28:19-20), and to be bold and not ashamed in what we believe (Romans 1:16).
Another extremely important command God has given to us, is to pray. It is absolutely imperative that every child of God who reads this take heed. Therefore, I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior (1 Timothy 2:1-3).
I certainly don’t believe some people who profess to be born-again (saved) understand how important what God has ordained to be written. That’s the reason I am boldly and lovingly posting this warning to the readers who don’t understand and it is dangerous to come against those whom God have ordained to be in the highest office on earth.
Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God. Therefore whoever resists the authority resists the ordinance of God, and those who resist will bring judgment on themselves (Romans 13:1-2).
David did not come against King Saul, even when Saul set out to have him killed. And David arose and secretly cut off a corner of Saul’s robe. Now it happened afterward that David’s heart troubled him because he had cut Saul’s robe. And he said to his men, “The Lord forbid that I should do this thing to my master, the Lord’s anointed, to stretch out my hand against him, seeing he is the anointed of the Lord.” So, David restrained his servants with these words, and did not allow them to rise against Saul ( Samuel 24:4b-7).
· I don’t like some people’s ways, and that’s okay when one knows the difference between like and love – Internet- Like: Fondness or admiration, a positive feeling or preference. Love: Strong emotion of care, connection, and loyalty that goes beyond friendship, involving deeper emotional connection and attachment.
We have the freedom to vote for the person of our choice, but we don’t have the right to influence or persuade others who to vote for, nor do we have the right to speak against the dignitaries that are ordained by God. Let's pray for our Nation!
