Steps Ordered by the Lord 3-2-26

This message is to encourage the readers when it comes to allowing the Spirit of God to lead them, even when you don’t understand; obey the Lord. I am continuing with the book that was written fourteen years ago and how my steps were ordered and ordained by the Lord. The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord (Psalm 37:23).

At the time, the book “The New Life” was published I had no thoughts of how the Lord was going to orchestrate circumstances for me to move from Greensboro to Lindenwold. Little did I know a dead book would resurface and be used at a time such as this. A man's heart plans his way, but the Lord directs his steps (Proverbs 16:9). Although I don’t understand all the Lord was and is doing, I trust Him because He knows what is best for my life, that is why [His] Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path (Psalm 119:105).  

I do my best to seek the Lord for directions for most decisions and when that happens, it really make me feel good to know that seeking Him is the best for me. I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye (Psalm 32:8). Many years ago, I felt the Spirit speak to me and He told me to write a check and take it to someone in another town.

Mind you, I did not have a vehicle; my sister loaned me her car. I went to the lady’s house and while she was on the phone I slipped the check on her kitchen counter. After I left the lady saw the check on the counter and called me. This is the testimony she gave to me and others. The sister wanted to help some children and she did not have the money; she took a step of faith and charged the items she had purchased for the children, and the Lord came through with the exact amount of money.

Your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, this is the way, walk in it whenever you turn to the right hand or whenever you turn to the left (Isaiah 30:21).

Bottom line is this, when I authored the book, it was because of the strong urge I had for people to be saved; not only to be saved but to understand salvation. That’s definitely the call/office of evangelist; he or she is passionate and will do whatever it takes to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I found out later that the Lord was in it. It took a lot of work with the help of my teacher and a sister in Christ who worked diligently with me to draft the book. I Definitely heard from the Lord.

If anyone wants to get rewarded by the Lord here on this earth and now and in the eternal realm, obey Him and you will see great results (success). 

Then Peter began to say to Him,

“See, we have left all and followed You.”  

So Jesus answered and said, 

“Assuredly, I say to you, there is no one who has left house or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or lands, for My sake and the gospel’s,  who shall not receive a hundredfold now in this time—houses and brothers and sisters and mothers and children and lands, with persecutions—and in the age to come, eternal life" (Mark 10:28-30).

When we follow the steps ordered by the Lord, great and mighty things happen!
