The Million Dollar Question! Here's the Answer.

I'm a Sinner Saved by Grace?

The last two messages were “All Have Sinned and Come Short of God’s glory” and today’s message ties in with the previous ones. Most likely, people who think they come short of God’s glory still think they are sinners saved by grace.

Do you really want to know why so many of God’s children are not living a victorious life? It’s because of their mindset and what come out of their mouths. The devil uses all those negative things that come from their lips against them.

As a matter of fact, the devil knows that many of God’s children are not studying His Word, and his influence is even greater. He does them like he did Eve: “Did God say that?” Please remember what Jesus said about Satan: He was a liar from the beginning and he is the father of lies (John 8:44).

My point is, some are just saying what they think to be true without searching (digging) for truths.

Example

Internet- Finding gold is definitely not easy. With the average concentration in the earth’s crust being five grams per one hundred tons, you certainly need to know where and how to look for it. The good news, however, is that gold concentrations will be much higher at certain places, but finding these locations will take some knowledge, time, and skill.

The Word of God is similar to gold and one must dig into it in order to strike it rich. This means that the person will have all the benefits that come with it from a spiritual point of view and they also will be blessed in the natural realm.

Let’s go to some scriptures to prove that one cannot be a sinner and a saint at the same time. Who is telling the truth? The Word of God says: Let God be true but every man a liar Romans 3:4).

2 Natures?

Can a cow be a pig – their nature is different because God made everything after its kind (Genesis 1:24). Take a pig out of the hog pen and put him in a clean environment, he will go right back to his natural habitat because the hog pen was given to him by nature.

So, it is with us who are born-again, our nature changes, but we still have the human body that is subject to sin because that is our old habitat (nature), but we have a new spirit which makes us a new person. Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new (2 Corinthians 5:17). Look at the word passed; that is past tense (former, old). Is God lying?

The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, and He delights in his way. Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down; for the Lord upholds him with His hand (Psalm 37:23-24). I use this verse often and quote it like this “We fall into sin” which means the same thing.

I used this scripture yesterday, but it is being reiterated - nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God (1 Corinthians 6:10b-11).

The flesh is always craving for things it does not need, because it is sinful.

The flesh is not the real person; it (the outward man) is perishing, but the inner man is being renewed day by day Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day (2 Corinthians 4:16).

Remember the metamorphosis – Once a caterpillar is transformed into a butterfly, it will never be a caterpillar again.
