Biblical Proof of Judgment Seat of Christ and the Great White Throne Judgment 9-18-24
Since many people do not fully understand salvation, this message will provide Biblical proof of who goes where. Keep in mind that God gives His children limited free will, and He wants them to make the best choices.
However, many times that does not happen. Because our Sovereign God is eternal, He is not confined to space or time, and He has always been and will always be, He knew what we were going to do before we were formed in our mothers’ wombs; He knew us (already had a relationship with us (Jeremiah 1:5). With that being so, God knew what we were going to be doing throughout our lives; both good and bad. God’s great Love for us has always remained the same because He is Love!
Therefore, the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous. The unrighteous cannot stand at the same judgment as the born-again believer (Psalm 1:5). There are other judgments, but my main point is to share with the readers the difference between the judgment of the born-again believers and the unsaved.
For we [born-again believers] must all appear before the Judgment Seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad (2 Corinthians 5:10).
Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away. And there was no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life.
And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books. The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works. Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire (Revelation 20:11-15).
Not only that, but the two judgments occur at different times.
Standing boldly for Christ! I’ll go, send me (Isaiah 6:8).
