Conduct Yourselves how God has made you (Psalm 139:14).

In the Old Testament the prophets, priests and kings were anointed to fulfill the positions that were appointed to them.

In the New Testament, all the children of God are prophets, priests and soon to reign as kings.

Breakdown- there is a difference in the prophetic call and the commission given by us to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Prophets- Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,  teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always,  to the end of the age.” Amen (Matthew 28:19-20). Teaching, preaching, and proclaiming are synonymous.

Priests – The people of God are called as priests to intercede (pray) for others. But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;  who once were not a people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy.

The people of God are called as priests to intercede (pray) for others; the Holy Spirit helps us to pray for others.

Likewise, the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God (Romans 8:26-27).

Kings – And has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever (Revelation 20:6). Amen.

If we endure, We shall also reign with Him. If we deny Him, He also will deny us (2 Timothy 2:12).  This means to fulfill God’s purpose in our lives; if not Jesus will deny our works that He didn’t call us to do. This has nothing to do with salvation; it’s about rewards that will cause us to rule and reign with Christ. Remember this, the faithful will be rewarded.

His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things.” Enter into the joy of your lord (Matthew 25:21, 23).

Now that you know who you are in Christ, conduct yourselves like you are prophets, priests and future reigning kings who will rule with the King of Kings and Lord of lords.
