Tragedy turned to Joy, all Because of Jesus Christ! Glory to the Lord God Almighty!
Our family has experienced several tragedies in less than a year. A recent one was not as tragic as the others, but the situation had us on pins and needles, and a whole lot of praying.
On Christmas eve I received better news pertaining the situation and the outlook is promising! All praises, honor and glory belong to God our Father.
The story: The other reason I am sharing this is because the recent tragedy on December 15, 2024, just ten days before Christmas and on December 19, 2015, six days before Christmas, we lost one of our dearly beloved tragically. This last one brought memories of 2015, and it has truly been an ordeal.
Despite all the tragedies, on this Christmas day, I am overjoyed that the Lord spared our loved one’s life. Although I received a bunch of gifts, this was the best present of all! I thank the Lord because the Greatest Gift that I received was March 15, 1982; the gift of salvation.
Before closing, I want to thank my prayer partners who interceded and stood in the gap with me; as we believed that our beloved would receive healing by Jesus’ stripes (1 Peter 2:24).
To some my friends and bonus family, who lost loved ones in 2024, I mourned when you mourned- Clarence Bagwell, Trudy Sadler (new Jersey). Our loved ones- Donald Huck Troutman (my nephew), Albert Burke (bonus family and my “Bestie”), Randa Dodd-Grayson (bonus family) Earl Garrett, my nephews' brother, Nell Collins (family connection) as well as Charles Williamson; Grace Patrick McMannen, James Owens (cousin) and a few members at the same church I attended years ago. God bless you
Let’s have a Joyous Christmas day because we are still alive and give praises to God our Father.
