You Have Ministry, do You Know What it is? 9-22-25

I am sharing about the differences in all of the people of God when it comes to ministry – everybody has ministry; all are not the same- even though the specific call may be the same, we minister differently according to the grace that is given for the call/ministry/service.
Example- many people are pastors, but they minister to their sheep as the Spirit leads them; there is no copycatting in the body of Christ. The four Gospels are called the synoptic Gospel because they are similar, but they are exactly alike because they wrote the way the Holy Spirit inspired them.

There is also a difference in the people of God when it comes to witnessing and ministering gifts that that has been by the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Many people get the gifts mix up because some of them are similar. It is important to know the difference or the ministry will not be effective. I hear people in ministry saying that evangelism, gift of discernment, wisdom, and knowledge are gifts. That is embarrassing and they pass on errors and others say the same thing. The sad part is because they look up to these leaders, they are not willing to change.
Since around 1987, I have been in four churches that used books about gifts so people can discover what their gifts are. First of all, that is not according to the Word of God. The gifts are listed in three books of the Bible and those who are graced in the five ministry offices are equipped to help the people of God to learn whatever is necessary to grow and not be confused with what some people are throwing (tossing) at them (Ephesians 4:11-16).
Also, the writers of those books did not understand the Word of God, they were leaning to their own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6).
I wrote about this part before, but I will reiterate this because if is important for the readers to understand the truth, and how some leaders are not willing to change when some tells them the truth and prove it by the Word of God.
This was a set-up from the Lord: Someone asked me to attend a class that I had already been to, yet I agreed to go. New books were being distributed and I started looking through the book and saw the same errors that had been printed and distributed to the people in three previous churches where the class was being taught about the gifts.
At the end of the class I went to the pastor, pointed out the errors, and suggested he would tell the people and he said: “I can’t tell them that!” That was pride; he should have told the people about the errors instead of letting them believe what the book said was true. FYI- I was set up in the class to bring warning and correction that was not received- that’s what a prophet does.
Tomorrow I plan to share the gifts that are confused because of lack of knowledge due to not studying and dividing the Word of Truth (2 Timothy 2:15).
