I am following up with Monday’s message “The Wealth of the Wicked is Laid up for the Just”

This is something very crucial for the people of God to know. Salvation is unconditional because we did nothing to get it.

However, after we are born again, we are given assignments (gifts), and how we manage what gives us to manage determines the amount of blessings we will receive. This is what conditional means- if you do this, you will get that!

Although God sends His sun and rain, the principle is conditional  that you may be sons of your Father in heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good and sends rain on the just and on the unjust (Matthew 5:45).

We are to love these unsaved people just as God loves us. Even though they do evil things, God still loves them; whether we understand it or not, God is Sovereign and everything He does is right. We know not know when of if they will be saved.

I would like to say this, God is not obligated to take care of unsaved people, yet He does. However, He takes care of His own. Example: a good father takes care of his child, but he doesn’t have to take care of another person’s child. The key to abundant blessings is “Obedience”- An Old Testament principle is found in Deuteronomy 28:1-14).

Someone may be wondering what is next. I am writing about the church and how God structured it the same way He did with His people in the Old Testament. Also, not being obedient to the Word of God causes consequences, that’s the reason the church is not prospering and having God’s success. They are going according to the doctrines and traditions of men rather than abiding in the Truth.

Traditions and doctrines of men

And in vain they worship Me, teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.’ For laying aside the commandment of God, you hold the tradition of men—the washing of pitchers and cups, and many other such things you do.”(Mark 7:7-8) The pharisees added hundreds of rules in addition to the law of  Moses. Isn’t that what is going on in many churches today?

Thus, you have made the commandment of God of no effect by your tradition.  Hypocrites! Well did Isaiah prophesy about you, saying: ‘These people draw near to Me with their mouth, and honor Me with their lips, but their heart is far from Me. And in vain they worship Me, teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.’(Matthew 15:6b-9) Does that sound familiar? Anyone who studies the Word of God know that the house is out of order.

Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to Christ (Colossians 2:8).

This message is leading up to “Biblical Guidelines for the People of God (the Church)”

Oh’ how I long to teach this upcoming series more in-depth!

Lord, Lord, Lord, You sho been good to me! You keep blessing me over and over! Walking in my blessings that come with being obedient!
