I love to go to car shows and see so many antique, classic, and some modern cars. A couple of years ago I was a car show in another town; hundreds of cars and trucks. I saw a few sixty-

six mustangs which reminded me of the one I had; it was one sharp car.

A week ago, a friend and I went to look at all kinds of uniquely sharp cars. Even though it was being held in our neighborhood, and within walking distance, I drove because of the inclement weather. At first my friend say she was going to stay in the truck; I said, “I’m going to look at these cars and take pictures of them” Then she said, “I’m going too,” she was enjoying checking the cars out and she took many pictures. It was fun even though the weather was inclement.

The neighborhood grocery store’s owners sponsored the show, and from my understanding engaging in a conversation with someone who attended this event annually, I found out that in the previous years the car show was much bigger. I personally believe rain could have been a factor.

I saw all types, shapes, models, old, new, some classics and a few antiques. Although it was rainy that day the show went on, we took pictures of those in which we were interested. There was not one sixty-six mustang. However, there was a red mustang that brought back memories of the red Mach One Mustang that I had in 1971; it was a fast car, and I put would my foot in it.

Although it was a  wet, and dreary day, we had fun. God is so good; He gives us richly all [good] things to enjoy (1 Timothy 6:17), and memories of days gone by are golden!
