What a Blessed Resurrection Indeed!

Jesus’s resurrection brought new life to me; joyfully celebrating what He did for me on Monday, March 15, 1982 (forty four years of walking with my Lord and Savior).

I am not the same; He made a wonderful change and am a brand NEW creation. Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new (2 Corinthians 5:17). What a double blessing!

Although I still fall into sin because of this flesh body that houses my new spirit, I am not a sinner, I am a saint!  Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners (sinners), but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God (Ephesians 2:19). Praise the Lord!

How do I have the assurance that Jesus “Resurrected” Because I am no longer the same, those sinful desires are not dominate in me. I know His Spirit lives in me because I get convicted; I am convinced of my sin and I repent (a sinner does not repent).

The pleasurable sin no longer is a part of my life; my utmost desire is to please Jesus Christ who paid the ultimate and costly price to give me a new life.

Therefore, I praise the Lord because I’m free, no more chains holding me, Hallelujah, I’m free (John 8:32). because of what Jesus Christ did for me. Therefore, if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed. (John 8:36).

Praise the Lord that Jesus rose from the dead, He is alive forevermore, and He lives in me. In that day you will know that I am in My Father, and you in Me, and I in you (John 14:20).

Blessings on this “Resurrection” Sunday.
