The day before New Year’s Eve, December 30, 2025, we were blessed by our manager with two trays of goodies and sparkling cider. What a Treat indeed! Some mingled together and shared our thoughts, concerns, and experiences with each other, while others were playing a game.

It was  a few hours of fun, which was encouraging and motivational; that really helps us to have a better quality of life. As a matter of fact, one of our members call us “Recycled Seniors” I think that’s pretty cool.

I find it pleasurable being around people of various backgrounds and races. It reminds me of the time the Spirit spoke and wanted me to be in a church that was diverse. I had been a member of a mixed nondenominational church in the nineteen eighties, but around 2016 the Spirit led me to another non denominal church of many ethnic backgrounds.

Once I was there the Spirit also told me why. He wanted me to learn the culture, history and the language of the people just as I was to learn the culture, history, and language of the people in the Old and New Testaments. That is way to be able to identify with others; all types of people belong to God.

Therefore, it is necessary to communicate and have better fellowship with others. The church that I attend is diverse but mainly it is easy to communicate with all the people.

The apartment where I reside has people from several parts of the world; they may not speak their language, but being friendly to strangers will cause them to communicate other ways.

Take away- You read about the different places and diversity of people that I am constantly around and involved with; this is the Lord’s doing and not mine. I thank Him for having me where I am, and for the people He has in my life.

May 2026 bring abundant blessings to all!
